Trex Transcends Havana Gold & Trex Transcends Spiced Rum Deck

Deck remodel due to tree damage. Did you know that if you need to place an Insurance claim in CT and you are not able to match the materials either because they are no longer in production or if they won’t match because of aging being exposed to the elements that the claim should cover a full replacement? We were not able to match the exact railings or decking for this one so the customer was able to get coverage for comparable level of materials. Which at the time this original deck was built they had a high end composite decking and low maintenance railing system so they where able to get covered for Trex Transcends decking and Railing systems. We also had to make some structural changes to ensure this deck’s frame will last as long as the decking/railing materials. We added a few footings/beams and completely rebuilt the stairs. This deck has Trex Transcends Havana Gold as the body with a Spiced Rum picture frame and fascia. We also used spiced rum to trim out the stair stringers and as the riser trim. The railings are Trex Transcends all white posts, top/bottom horizontal rails and black round aluminum balusters. We also used the Trex Ada graspable rail in black to be code compliant for any set of stairs with 4 risers or more. This deck remodel comes with a 25 year materials warranty and a 10 year labor warranty because it was installed by a certified Trex Pro Platinum builder.
