I am writing this review with a view of my new deck and could not be happier. From my initial contact with Mike Regan, I was 100% sure he would be the contractor that we went with when we first considered getting our new composite deck. Mike emailed me back promptly, taking the time to address each and every one of my questions in detail. His knowledge and attention to detail was evident immediately. It was clear that he was methodical and thoughtful and the ultimate professional.Mike, Matt and every member of the crew were a dream to work with. They were incredibly professional and very hard working. The crew became members of our family that week as my sons excitedly watched their trucks arrive in the morning and loved to watch the construction being done. ("Construction" became the go-to game in our house!) Matt even gave my older son a Regan Total Construction baseball cap which he still wears proudly as his construction hat whenever we go out!The deck itself is incredible. Sleek and beautiful and has become my favorite view or place to sit. Mike and his team at Regan Total Construction completed a project for us in May. Give Mike a call for your next deck project! The price was a little over budget but the work is spectacular. Mike and his crew lead by Zack work quick but extremely efficient. Mike was also able to get us on the schedule a little earlier then he initially agreed on.He was also very good on communication with updates or delays.I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new deck or work to an existing deck to give Mike at Regan Total Construction a call.

Exactly what you’re looking for in a deck contractor. I’m very happy with the entire project. Mike Regan is exactly what I was looking for in a contractor. He is aware of the investment a project like this is and doesn't take it lightly. He really listened to what I was looking for, and was ready with suggestions to help me achieve what I envisioned. He was also very easy to work with when it came to changes I wanted to make and always responded right away with any questions. I also had a patio built under the deck and Mike connected me with a hardscape contractor. They are two different companies but they work well with each other. Mike made it all very easy for me.His crew was absolutely great. Very professional, organized, and definitely skilled. I am really happy with their workmanship. They worked on my project throughout the winter, even when it was snowing. There were a couple times during the framing process when conditions were icy and not safe to walk along the joists which are at a second level height. Mike was immediately in contact, keeping me up to date with situations like that (which there were very few of) as well as all phases of the project which was completed right on schedule.I have no hesitation in recommending Mike Regan for everyone’s deck project.

I am writing this review while sitting on my new deck, sipping coffee on this beautiful spring morning. I couldn’t be happier if I was on vacation in some faraway place. I knew the deck would be a big improvement, but I’m surprised at just how much I love it now that it’s done.Regan Total Construction was a great company to work with. Since my project was a large, second story deck with a rain escape system to cover the patio I have planned below, I wanted to be sure it was not only beautiful but safe and sound. Based on their portfolio, reviews, and credentials I was sure RTC had the experience and qualifications for the job.The whole process went so smoothly. Mike is organized, knowledgeable, and a great communicator. He takes the time to listen to what you want, offers suggestions and ideas, and helps you work through all the decisions. Every step of the process was communicated clearly, and if I had questions he always responded promptly. The guys were here every day like clockwork, unless it was really pouring rain, and they got everything done when they said they would. It was a pleasure doing business with Mike and his team.

We worked with Mike and his team on a brand new Trex deck. We loved working with Mike. He was extremely responsive, had great ideas for us to implement as we were discussing the project, and had the deck completed in a timely manner and looking great! With this being our first deck project - Mike made the process extremely easy and answered all of questions. His team was professional and did a great job with the build, cleaning up, and having the deck ready to go. Mike coordinated with plumbers and electricians to make sure this project incorporated all of our deck needs. We can't wait to start using it!

Look no further. Mike and his team of professionals just finished our deck late Spring and we are beyond satisfied with the outcome. I first reached out to Mike one year before the project started. Mike provided a detailed estimate and gave us valuable information to begin planning our project. Once we were ready to move forward, Mike worked with us patiently throughout the whole process from start to finish. Mike had a detailed plan for each of the unique circumstances (i.e. moving baseboard heaters, installing a new slider, removing old deck /footings and sealing up old door). Mike was extremely flexible throughout the process and provided thoughtful suggestions to help us get everything we wanted. The team that built our deck matched Mike's professionalism and the quality of the craftsmanship was outstanding. We would not hesitate to recommend Regan Total Construction to anyone.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the work of Regan Total Construction. Mike was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Very responsive from the first phone call till the completion of the project. The crew was very personable, professional, hardworking and super tidy. Couldn’t believe how clean the job site was at the end of each day. With having parking under the deck we never had to worry about loose nails or debris. RTC removed an old wood deck and frame and replaced with Trex lineage in Rainier. Absolutely beautiful. The project was completed in a few short days and we will have decades of enjoyment. I am absolutely blown away by the performance and quality of the entire team at Regan Total Construction. I take a great deal of pride in my professional work and it was refreshing to FINALLY deal with a contractor that does the same. Mike Regan was phenomenal on the quoting and design phase of the project and kept my informed on his installation timeline every step. He was also prepared and very professional. Once Matt Elchner, his project manager, took over my project it went off without a hitch. 2600 sq/ft of complete tear out and deck replacement, installed in the harsh cold of December in CT. ON TIME, ON BUDGET and literally not one mistake or extra. All of his staff clearly take a great deal of pride in their craftsmanship and customer communication. Ed, Matt, Steve, Chris, Alex, Zach and Mikey THANK YOU! You are all welcome back anytime to hang out or drop a line on the pond. If you are considering RTC for your deck project I think you would be foolish to look anywhere else. True professionals across the board.

Thanks to Regan Total Construction we could not be happier with our new multi level Trex deck. Mike and his team were amazing to work with from first meeting to completed project. Mike is a true professional and was so accommodating during the planning process. His quick responses to our questions and excellent design suggestions helped us feel empowered and confident every step of the way. They removed our old wooden deck, replaced it with beautiful composite trex decking and rails, and added a second lower level deck all in about 3 weeks once construction began. Mike Regan and team at Regan Total Construction were great from beginning to end, working through a number of design choices about replacing our current decks, and recommending materials and design to maximize our space/value. Conversations w/Mike were always very transparent in terms of how design and materials would impact cost and functionality, and what choices we could make that might impact those things. Once we got going, his team doing the build could not have been more professional -- very communicative extremely conscious of our property -- they were much more concerned than I was about things like where they parked, keeping everything clean, and ensuring that their work wouldn't be an interruption to us. We were out of town for part of the install, and they even helped us take care of a delivery to the house while we were gone. When I did have questions about buildout, materials, building codes, etc., we always the information we needed. Could not ask for a better process or team!

We really couldn't be more pleased with Regan Total Construction and our new deck. Mike and his team are organized and professional, and they do beautiful work. We signed the contract on February 1st, the footings were in by February 18, and our deck was completed the first week in May. Construction took two weeks (as promised), and the job site was immaculate when they were finished. We look forward to enjoying our beautiful deck for decades to come.

Regan Total Construction tore down our old wooden deck and replaced it with this beautiful screened in porch. From the beginning to end, Mike Regan and his crew were professional, on time, conscientious, expedient and did beautiful work. During the planning stages Mike was really attentive to what my husband and were envisioning and drew up a plan that was exactly what we wanted. He listened and also gave feedback about the availability of different materials. Mike was very upfront about the timing of our project starting, and kept us updated when we found out our trex color we wanted was back ordered. Once it began his crew were very professional and friendly to my myself and my family. They arrived on time every morning and worked a full day. This is the fifth home improvement project Mike has done for us over they years, and definitely the largest and we will continue to hire Regan Total Construction for any home improvement projects we may need.

Mike Regan and team replaced a large two tier deck. Original deck was damaged by wind/tree. Mike is expert in working with insurance companies to ensure claim payout is appropriate. He's also great at working with you on material choices and design options. Offers great ideas but also listens to yours. Old deck demo and new deck construction were top notch. Teams were very hard working, very skilled, knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions and help understand how something was being done or going to look. Fantastic to work with. Overall outstanding experience. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Regan Total Construction just removed our old deck and rebuilt it into an enclosed deck and screened porch. We could not be happier with the finished product and the service that they provided. They were all very professional and knowledgeable, from the beginning when Mike came out to discuss possibilities and give us a quote, all the way through the construction and the final inspection by the town. They came when they said they would, everyone worked hard to get things done, and their craftsmanship is excellent. And just as importantly, everyone was nice, and they were responsive to our questions and concerns. We love our new porch. We would happily recommend Regan Total Construction to anyone! Five Stars!

I filled out a free estimate online and uploaded pictures for a free estimate. No response. I called 3 days later and left a detailed message, a week later still no response. I called a 3rd time and left a message saying this is my 3rd time calling and get ready for a nice review on google. I am sorry but if you run a business and want someone's business you may want to have someone respond to your clients. Good luck to those who try to use this company. You only called me back because i had to leave a rude message. You should hire extra help.

Our family loved working with Mike and his crew. Mike was extremely professional, honest, thoughtful, responsive and creative. Importantly, he listened to each and every concern and preference we had and truly cared. His crew was respectful and so detail oriented. Regan Total Construction replaced our 25yr old deck with a brand new, gorgeous, Trex deck in June 2020. Right from the start Mike was professional, responsive, and wonderful to work with. Mike and his crew are the epitome of what working with a contractor should be like - and trust me, after some very bad experiences with contractors, we’re VERY picky about who we work with - He was super knowledgeable and very thorough while walking us through the entire process, detailing costs and showing us samples of all of the Trex products (and had tons of pictures of completed projects) so we could make an informed decision. Mike’s staff was friendly, hard-working and responsive to questions/concerns throughout the build. Mid-build I requested a change in the width of the stairs and they were quick to amend the build even though it meant additional work for them, and at no cost to me. Clearly a new Trex deck is an investment, but we were so comfortable with Regan Total Construction throughout the whole process and are thrilled with the results. I would definitely recommend Regan Total Construction to anyone looking to build/replace a deck!

Shortly after I sent photos to Mike Regan of our decaying deck, he came and discussed what we wanted and made recommendations, and brought samples and models of different styles and colors of composite material. Very helpful was sending us to the lumber yard in Enfield which sold the materials where we could see full size examples of the products and visualize various colors, decks, stairs and railings. Mike was very good at explaining what options we had and what he suggested we consider doing. His crew was professional, efficient and painstaking with the small details. In five days they removed the old wooden deck, added an additional support post to accommodate an increase of 16 sq. ft. (for total 238 sq. ft.) and completed the work. He and his crew answered our questions about the various stages and methods of construction which gave us utmost confidence in their capabilities. Decks are their specialty and primary business. We are very pleased with the results of their work and highly recommend Regan Total Construction. 5/12/2020
